As someone who straddles the notion of two homes, one in India and one in Virginia, I consciously think about the spaces we occupy. By “spaces” I mean not just physical spaces but also imagined, political, cultural, and gendered spaces. Push/Pull creates the tension of living in multiple universes simultaneously as a queer, diasporic, agnostic, gender non-conforming individual.
