Confluence is an experimental video on chance and serendipity, a collaboration between myself as the cinematographer + editor and my collaborator, Pieta Brown--a composer, performer, and sound engineer. We came up with a title and worked separately. I created a 2-minute image track while she created a 2-minute soundtrack. After 3 months, Confluence was born by combining our individual tracks to reveal the random magic of serendipity.
